Pork Ribs with Roasted Apples

Ingredients
2/3 cup bottled barbecue sauce
1/3 cup jalapeņo pepper jelly
1 tbsp. butter
4 lbs. pork loin back ribs or meaty spareribs, cut into serving size pieces
4 apples
Instructions
1. Preheat a covered grill to medium-hot. Meanwhile, for sauce, in a small saucepan combine barbeque sauce and jelly. Heat until jelly is melted. Set aside.
2. Prepare grill for indirect cooking. Place ribs on grill rack over medium heat. Cover and cook for 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours or until tender, brushing with sauce the last 15 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, core and quarter apples. Place on one half of a 36x12-inch piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Drizzle apples with about 1/4 of the sauce mixture. Dot with butter. Bring edges of foil together and seal.
4. Place packet of apples on the grill for the last 35 minutes of grilling or until tender.
