Here is an excellent posada. A group of us stayed there in Aug 2003. It is run by a German couple. As one would expect it is very neat, clean and designed. Pool/Jacuzzi. One of the main attractions is that the owner is a biologist and his land is filled with flora/fauna/water life. One big fishpond, a dozen tanks of varying sizes, all of which hold creatures local to Venezuela. Kids would love the place. 100,000 Bs per person per day with three meals. 40 minutes outside of Valencia.
